The Denver Nuggets defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 114-103 in a game on August 22, 2021. The win came as a result of a strong performance by the Nuggets’ star player, Nikola Jokic, who finished the game with a triple-double, scoring 31 points, grabbing 14 rebounds, and dishing out 4 assists.

The game began with the Nuggets taking an early lead, but the Timberwolves quickly caught up, with the score tied at 27-27 at the end of the first quarter. However, the Nuggets pulled ahead in the second quarter, ending the half with a 60-50 lead. They maintained their lead in the second half, with Jokic playing a pivotal role in their victory.

In addition to Jokic’s strong performance, the Nuggets received solid contributions from Michael Porter Jr., who scored 19 points, and Facundo Campazzo, who added 15 points and 7 assists. The Timberwolves, on the other hand, were led by Karl-Anthony Towns, who scored 20 points, and D’Angelo Russell, who added 16 points and 9 assists.

The win improved the Nuggets’ record to 47-24, while the Timberwolves fell to 22-49. The Nuggets are currently in fourth place in the Western Conference and are looking to secure home-court advantage in the playoffs. With Jokic leading the way, the team will be a tough matchup for any opponent in the postseason.
