Tennessee Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown recently endorsed a potential reunion between his former teammate, running back Derrick Henry, and the Philadelphia Eagles. Brown stated that he believes Henry would fit well in the Eagles’ offensive system and that he would be excited to see the two play together again.
Henry played under Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni while he was an assistant coach for the Titans, leading to speculation that the Eagles could be interested in acquiring the star running back in a trade or signing him as a free agent.
Despite this, it remains unclear whether such a reunion would be possible given the Titans’ reluctance to part with Henry and the significant salary cap implications that come with his contract. Additionally, the Eagles have other pressing needs that may take precedence over acquiring a top-tier running back.
